The pregnant and postnatal body is moving through sacred, important and exponential transformation. As a new mother gives herself to the development of her child, her body requires nurturing and specific care. Prenatal and Postnatal Therapeutic Massage gives a mother a unique opportunity to connect with her body, and to gather an understanding of some the discomforts that are experienced during this time, either in preparation for birth or as part of birth recovery.

Treatments include specific prenatal and postnatal orthopaedic assessment that give insight into the body’s functional movement, fascial tensions, and structures that may require strengthening. Therapeutic massage is customized to specific requirements of each individual.

Benefits include: pain relief, body awareness, improvement of physiological function, hormone function, childbirth preparation/recovery, nervous system support, stress reduction, relaxation, improved circulation, improved breastfeeding outcomes, Cesarian scar remediation, Diastasis Recti recovery and more.
